Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System ($4.3M)

We are working as a major subcontractor to General Atomics Corporation for this complicated Navy project.  We are currently constructing a aircraft launch test facility and installing furnished system components.  The launch system will consist of numerous components, which must be assembled into a precisely aligned machine approximately 160’ long, located in a below grade pit.  The alignment tolerances are required to be within +/- 1/32” over the entire length of the launch put.
