Project Description: This project involves the construction of concrete platforms at eleven (11) different stations located along the Light Rail route from the Eastern Virginia Medical Center to Newtown Road. Major work items include: concrete platforms; benches and trash cans; handrails; glass paneled patron shelters with metal roofs; and light poles and fixtures. Also included are platform and site signs, traffic maintenance, excavation and erosion controls.
